Jaxon Hale never asked to be a hero. In fact, he’d prefer to tinker with gadgets and stay unnoticed in his quiet town of Briar Hills. But when a strange crack opens in the sky, it’s Jaxon who witnesses it—and his life will never be the same again.
A mysterious force pulls Jaxon into a world of fractured dimensions and relentless enemies. The Core, an ancient and powerful artifact, recognizes him as its chosen bearer, and with it, he becomes the target of the Null King, an entity bent on unraveling the multiverse.
As Jaxon struggles to understand the powers he’s inherited, he is thrust into a battle that spans worlds, with allies like the experienced Liora and the sarcastic Theo, and enemies who are both strange and terrifying. Together, they must uncover the secrets behind the Core and its connection to the ancient Guardians who once protected the multiverse from destruction.
The stakes have never been higher as the fabric of reality begins to tear. Jaxon may be humanity’s last hope, but with the Null King hunting him and darker forces at play, survival will take more than courage—it will take the very essence of what makes him who he is.
Can Jaxon stop the coming collapse of worlds, or will he become a pawn in a war he never chose?
